Math has always been
misunderstood as difficult and many of us had a hard time understanding it
while we were in school. Even as adults, the love-hate relationship with Math
still lingers. For many, Math is not something that comes intuitively or
automatically - it takes plenty of effort. It is a subject that sometimes
requires a lot of devotion and time and energy.
Experts have revealed that a
person’s difficulty in grasping the subject is not all about one’s level of
brainpower. For example, Dyscalculia is a learning difficulty that causes
students to struggle with formulas, shapes, and number-related concepts. This
makes it difficult for them to understand and process math problems. Math
anxiety, yes it does exist, causes a person to experience feelings of fear and
failure when faced with Math-related topics. Another reason why many people do
not like Math is due to poor foundation teaching. Math challenges aren’t always
a result of a learning difficulty. For many who struggle with math, it’s simply
because they didn’t have the proper foundation needed to excel in the subject.
This
math challenge aims to make you see that Math is not something that we should consider as
unfriendly territory. Math is in everything that we do and in everything that
surrounds us. These math questions aim to challenge and review various math
concepts that we have learned during our schooldays. Can you remember your
lessons? Do you think you can solve all of these questions correctly?
