The Fourth of July, also known as Independence day, is a day where we celebrate the day America was founded. What started as a declaration of independence from Britain, the holiday has stuck with us 200+ years later! With close to a billion dollars spent every year on the 4th of July, Americans celebrate this holiday with pride and joy!
Did you know that John Adams believed that July 2nd was the day America declared its independence? He refused to celebrate on the 4th in retaliation. Both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on July 4th, 1826, the 50th anniversary of Independence Day. We have cultivated facts such as these and made questions that are fun for everyone to hear.
